I have spent a lot of time thinking about what to write in this section and I have yet to be happy with the results. So let me try the direct approach. I love sports. I love writing about sports. The combo of grad school, marriage, job and fatherhood didn't allow me to do so for the past four years. I finally feel like I am at a place in my life where I can again devote some time to expressing my opinions through writing.
Blogging is the perfect venue. I can write whenever and about whatever I want and more importantly I don't have to worry about site design and maintenance.
I don't know where JerseySounder is going to take me or how long it will survive. I don't know if anyone will enjoy reading it, but I do know that I am excited to be at it again. I can't promise that my writing is any good, but I can promise that it will be full of passion.
Mostly I see myself writing about the teams that mean the most to me: the Mets, Devils and Sounders. Of course, that doesn't mean I won't be blogging about the Nets, college football and basketball, soccer and fan pschye as they are all fair game.
Finally, I would love to see JerseySounder become a place where all my friends can voice their opinion. Whether it's through comments or entries, your feedback and opinion is important. Please feel free to contribute in any way you feel comfortable.
